Todos Santos, Baja California Sur

3,000+ miles to Todos Santos

A 1967 VW Bug. Unobstructed sunsets. Hidden beaches. This “Pueblo Magico” really is just that.

Spring '18 in Todos Santos

Just an hour north of the tourist mecca, Cabo San Lucas on the Baja California Sur peninsula, lies Todos Santos. It’s a starkly different type of town than its southern counterpart with a sleepier vibe and a thriving surf culture. Amidst the desert landscapes and the region’s native cardon cacti, dirt roads take you to hidden beaches or locally-owned restaurants. (An up-for-anything attitude could be considered requisite in this region.)

Our home away from home: Hotel San Cristobal, a beachfront hotel with epically perfect sun rises and sunsets

Most memorable views: The sunsets! Rising above the Sierra de la Laguna mountains and setting unobstructedly behind the horizon of the Pacific ocean—and spotted whales spouting in the ocean. Unreal.

Favorite spot: Las Palmas, a small and secluded beach at the end of a long, winding dirt road lined with “the mighty cardon cacti”
